Research interests
My research explores the intersections between Islam and politics, addressing a number of themes related to the study of transnational Islamic movements, Islamic activism, and Islam & gender. I am currently working on my book monograph which traces the emergence, evolution, and impact of the Salafi movement in the UK between 1980-2020.
